WELCOME TO MY HOME
PART 1
This is the original video posted 4/20/2007 where it all started.
On 8/2007 I was hit with copyright infringement.
Obviously I was barred from reposting this video, so I made 5more
:)
This version has the offensive line removed.
The 'fan letter' written by Susan Dennis and posted on www.BrendaDickson.com
defending Ms. Dickson appears below.
This letter was the catalyst for 'WELCOME TO MY HOME - PART 1

4/3/08 WorldOfWonder.net has been so great listing my videos.
Not only are they fun as hell, but they have Ring My Bell marathons,
production as well as offering users to create their own channel.
I love them, so will you.

HIGHLIGHTS 'WECOME
TO MY INTERVIEW' 2/18/2008
An actual WORD FOR WORD recreation of the Brenda Dickson/Marci
Hollywood Interview.
The original interview was mysteriously removed from youtube...
but not before we transcribed
it.
A lot of people have asked what I am really saying since I dubbed over
my own voice.
If you look closely you can see the words vajeene, douche bag etc.

DEVEN
GREEN *was* MENTIONED ON BRENDA DICKSON'S WIKIPEDIA PAGE 04/2008
All evidence of Deven Green removed from Brenda's
Wiki page.
01/2008 Wiki entry:
Dickson has earned a reputation for occasionally living up to her character's
wild and colorful nature. Among media related to Dickson is a vanity
video production titled "Welcome to my Home" taped in 1987,
for which she is credited as writer, director and executive producer.
It has resurfaced
on several video-based websites, and has gained unintentional camp status.
"Welcome to my Home" was parodied on video sharing websites,
most famously by comedienne Deven Green.
12/2007 Wiki entry:
"Welcome to my Home" was parodied on video sharing websites,
most famously by comedienne Deven Green, who simply took Dickson's
videos and dubbed over the original audio with an improvised track.
Initially removed from youtube.com for alleged copyright infringement
issues,
Green's parody video later resurfaced after she released a second parody
video debunking Dickson's allegations. In it, Green, dressed as Dickson
in a
long blond wig and garish fashions, reads aloud an actual letter, supposedly
written by Dickson in the third person, expressing disgust at Green.
"I hear the narrator is so ugly," it reads, "she can't
look in the mirror without it cracking...[and] wieghs (sic) 300 pounds."
Green has since posted three additional
parody videos targeting Dickson's self-promotion. The five videos, which
can be seen at devengreen.com, have been viewed by hundreds of thousands
and, though reviled by Dickson herself, are largely responsible for
bringing her back into the public eye.
